Forest Park
Overlooking the Willamette River, Forest Park,
with over 5000 acres, is the largest urban park
in the United States. Walk on one of the 70
miles worth of trails and look for 112 bird
species and more than 62 mammal species.
The Wildwood Trail follows the length of Forest
Park, beginning at the Hoyt Arboretum and
ending at Newberry Road. An amazing park
situated in an amazing city.
Portland has had many nicknames, including City of Roses, Stumptown, Bridgetown, and Rip City.
